'Nhầm lẫn' trong quyết định về ngoại hối
Bộ Tài chính VN gửi công văn hỏa tốc nói không có việc đánh thuế 10% đối với kiều hối gửi về nước và giải thích rằng đã có sự 'nhầm lẫn.'
Một số doanh nghiệp trước đó cho hay Hải quan Việt Nam từ ngày 16/01 bắt đầu áp dụng thuế giá trị gia tăng VAT 10% đối với ngoại tệ gửi về từ nước ngoài.
Nghĩa là, cứ 100 đôla Việt kiều gởi về thì thân nhân bị đánh thuế 10 đôla và chỉ được 90 đôla nếu nhận bằng ngoại tệ.
Số tiền thuế 10% này được quy định trong Thông tư số 131/2008/TT-BTC của Bộ Tài chính về “Hướng dẫn thực hiện thuế giá trị gia tăng.”
Theo thông tư này, mã hàng 4907 phải chịu thuế giá trị gia tăng (GTGT) 10% theo danh mục hàng hóa của biểu thuế nhập khẩu ưu đãi là: “Các loại tem thư, tem thuế hoặc tem tương tự hiện hành hoặc mới phát hành, chưa sử dụng ; các loại giấy bạc (tiền giấy); mẫu séc, chứng khoán, cổ phiếu, chứng chỉ trái phiếu, và các loại tương tự...”

My First Christmas In Heaven
I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below with tiny light, like Heavens, reflecting on the snow. The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tear, For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear. But the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas Choir up here. I have no words to tell you, the joy the voices bring, For it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart. But I am not so far away, We really aren't apart. So be happy for me, dear ones, You know I hold you dear, And be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear, Remember I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
